Utah’s Best Orthodontic Care Joins Salt Lake City’s Safe Kids Fair

February 26, 2014|

Utah’s best orthodontic care staff in the Salt Lake valley was thrilled to be apart of the Safe Kids Fair held in Sandy, Utah at the South Towne Events Center last weekend.

The Salt Lake County Health Department reported that an average of 16,366 kids are treated in emergency rooms each year in Salt Lake County for largely preventable injuries. Each year, an average of 329 sustain injuries serious enough to require hospitalization. These numbers prompted the department, along with members of Safe Kids Salt Lake County and Clear Channel Media, to host Saturday’s event. The fair featured more than 100 booths and activities geared toward safety, ranging from fire safety to bike safety to water and sports safety.

Children were able to win prizes, play in safety games and watch on-stage presentations. They were also invited to take part in a bike rodeo, and 200 bike helmets were given away at the beginning of the event

We had a lot of fun seeing all the kids and some of our very special UOC Patients.  Utah’s best orthodontic staff had a great time interacting with all the families and children that came by.  We had a Fun Photo Booth set up with a very clever Mustache themed props to take some silly pictures with inside the Photo Booth.  Check out some of the pictures from the event!  We participate in many other events like this throughout the year at schools across the Salt Lake valley. So stay tuned!
