National Orthodontic Health Month

October is Orthodontic Health Month!

October 9, 2025|

October is one of our favorite months of the year, not only because of cozy sweaters, pumpkin patches, and Halloween fun, but also because it’s Orthodontic Health Month! That’s right, all month long we get to celebrate the importance of healthy smiles and the confidence that comes with them.

At Utah Orthodontic Care, we believe your smile is your superpower. Whether you’re dressing up as a spooky ghost, a superhero, or a princess this Halloween, your smile is what really lights up the room. And the best part? Taking care of it today means you’ll have even more reasons to smile tomorrow.

Why Orthodontic Health Matters

Orthodontics isn’t just about straight teeth, it’s about overall health. A properly aligned bite makes brushing and flossing easier, helps prevent cavities, and can even reduce jaw discomfort. Plus, we’ve seen firsthand how a confident smile can change someone’s life, it’s more than just braces, it’s about self-esteem, joy, and connection.

Sweet Treats and Smiles

We know October means candy, candy, and more candy (and we’re not here to ruin the fun!). But it’s also a good reminder to enjoy treats in moderation and keep up with good oral hygiene. If you or your child are already in braces, stick to orthodontist-approved sweets, soft chocolates are much friendlier on brackets than sticky caramels or hard candies.

Special October Savings

To celebrate Orthodontic Health Month, we’re making it even easier to start your smile journey:

  • $500 OFF Traditional Braces
  • $250 OFF Invisalign

If you’ve been thinking about braces for your teen, or Invisalign for yourself, there’s no better time to take that first step. Imagine starting treatment now, you could already see a big difference by next Halloween!

Let’s Celebrate Smiles Together

This October, we invite you to join us in celebrating healthy smiles. Come in for a free consultation, bring your questions, and let’s talk about how we can help you or your child feel more confident and comfortable.  Schedule a FREE consultation at any of our 9 Wasatch Front offices.

From our UOC family to yours, we wish you a happy Orthodontic Health Month and a spooky-fun Halloween!
