Introducing Our New Doctor: Dr. Craig Young
This month, we’re very excited to welcome a new doctor to the expert team of orthodontists at Utah Orthodontic Care: Dr. Craig Young! Originally hailing from Indiana, Dr. Young is coming to us now after seven years of orthodontic experience in Arizona and we’re very excited to welcome this talented orthodontist to our team.
Dr. Craig Young was born in Evansville, Indiana and grew up in the small town of Farmington, NM. After High School, he served a Spanish speaking mission for his church in Los Angeles, California.
Following his mission he went to Arizona State University to obtain his bachelor degree in biology. Thereafter, he obtained his dental doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University School and earned the Pierre Fauchard award for his outstanding accomplishments in dentistry. Continuing his post-doctorate education, he specialized in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at University of Colorado Health Science Center. He completed his residency at Colorado University in Denver in August 2007.
After completing his orthodontic education, he set up two orthodontic practices in Arizona. Dr. Young and his wife lived in Arizona and helped countless members of their community achieve a beautiful new smile – and now, they’ve decided to move to Utah and join the team at Utah Orthodontic Care in order to be closer to family.
We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Young to the team, and we know Dr. Young is as well.
“After owning my own practice for 7 years, I’m looking forward to joining a larger team of orthodontists. I’m excited for the new challenges that joining such a vibrant community and team of orthodontic specialists will be,” Dr. Young said.

Dr. Young and his wife Alyson have now been married now for 10 years and have 4 wonderful children. His favorite pastimes include spending time with his family, boating, golfing and riding his dirtbike.
