It’s about that time of year again, when families throughout Utah decorate their homes with fake spider-webs, bats, cauldrons, and other creepy decorations, when all the “pumpkin spiced” drinks and treats come out of hibernation and children, young and young-at-heart, purchase or create costumes to wear on Halloween. All of this excitement means it’s time to announce our Pumpkin Decorating Contest put on by Utah Orthodontic Care!

Facts About The Pumpkin Decorating Contest

To enter the contest, anyone is invited to decorate a pumpkin in any way they wish. From a Minion to The Grouch, we’ve seen some incredible pumpkins, and know you will utilize all your creative ideas and skills to transform a pumpkin into something great. Remember, you must be IN the picture of your pumpkin – no stealing pictures from the internet! Then, you can encourage your friends, family members and patients to vote for your pumpkin by liking the photo. At the end of the voting period, the pumpkin with the most likes on Instagram will win its carver their very own iPad Mini!

Submitting on Instagram – Upload a photo to your Instagram account with the #UOCHalloween. Remember, your Instagram must be public for us to find your photo.

Contest Rules (The Fine Print)

No Purchase Necessary.  Purchase does not enhance chance of winning. Void where prohibited.

Contest begins October 1, 2016 and ends at midnight on November 10, 2016 Mountain Time.  Winners must be willing to come to UOC’s West Jordan, Utah office to claim their prize. Prize must be picked up in person at Utah Orthodontic Care’s West Jordan office by the person depicted in the winning photo(s).

Winners agree to have their photograph taken when they pick up their prize and give permission for Utah Orthodontic Care to use that photo and original photo entry on all social media sites and website.

Enter by submitting a photo of yourself with your decorated pumpkin. Pumpkins may be carved, painted, or any other method of decoration. It is acceptable to add props or additional materials to the pumpkin for decoration.

Voting is limited to one vote per entry. You can vote for yourself one time.

Winners will be determined by the most number of votes on Instagram. A prize of an IPad Mini will be awarded for the most votes by midnight on November 10.  Winners will be notified by November 12, 2016 by commenting on the winning Instagram photo.
