Every consultation at Utah Orthodontic Care is completely free with no obligation. There’s no cost to find out what you or your child needs, and no pressure to start treatment on the spot. Here’s what happens during your visit:

  • Complete oral evaluation by a licensed orthodontic provider who will examine your teeth, bite, and jaw alignment
  • Digital X-rays or 3D scan to get a detailed picture of your current dental structure
  • Personalized treatment recommendation explaining which option (braces, clear braces, or Invisalign) is the best fit for your case
  • Cost estimate and payment plan with exact pricing so you know what to expect before committing
  • Insurance verification so you understand what your plan covers and what your out-of-pocket cost will be

Most consultations take about 30-45 minutes. If you’re ready to begin, treatment can often start the same day.

Yes. There is no charge for your initial orthodontic consultation, and no obligation to start treatment. We believe everyone deserves to know their options before making a decision.

Bring your dental insurance card if you have one. If the appointment is for your child, a parent or guardian needs to be present. No referral is needed from your dentist.

Most consultations last 30-45 minutes. This includes the evaluation, X-rays or digital scan, treatment recommendation, and a walkthrough of costs and payment options.

In many cases, yes. If you’re ready to begin after your consultation, we can often start treatment that same day. There’s no requirement to do so though.

Yes. We accept Medicaid at all 8 locations. Medicaid coverage for orthodontics depends on the severity of the case. We’ll verify your eligibility during the consultation.

What to expect

At this consultation, you will meet our friendly orthodontists, general dentists, and dental assistants as we get to know you and discuss the different types of braces we offer. We will determine what treatment is needed to improve your smile, the estimated cost of your treatment, and help you select one of our no interest, no down-payment orthodontic financing plans with low monthly payments. You’ll also find out approximately how long your treatment will take and if you are ready, we can begin your treatment the day of your consultation.
